I find it amazing maybe even thrilling how 70's bands took advantage of stereo. Much more than today's artists.

I love the hard panning and phase things they did back in the day. Most albums nowadays are very centered in the middle.

Yes, I am old - I saw some of these bands when they were still doing colleges and clubs - but it helps that it was great music, as well.

Yes... And how they did flanging/phasing using tape is interesting and was also 'ear' opening to the 18 year old me - with headphones...
Kashmir by LedZep being a good example..

And how about Itchychoo Park (Small Faces)... Love that sound..
