Hello Everyone, i'm new to this forum but i found the reviews here are way better than other reviews i found on the web.

I just started my real journey into making myself a really great sounding system, but the more i read the more i find something i don't really understand.

Setup:
B&W 702S3
Coda CS 300 Amp
Bluesound Node n130 streamer
Marantz Cinema 70s

So i've tried out a few different integrated amplifiers which kinda disappointed me, Nad M33, Nad C399, Harman Kardon AVR 370 are some of them, i never really felt the big and open soundstage with them.
After i switched to the Bluesound and the Coda amp they really came alive and they do have the best audio i've had in my life. BUT, i have a feeling that the Bluesound is currently my weakest link in my journey to better sound.
So i've looked up various new Streamers and DAC's to try and understand where i would get the next improvement

Matrix Audio Element X2 Pure
Matrix Audio Mini-i Pro 4
Wiim Ultra
Topping D90 3 Sabre
Eversolo DMP-A8
Or something else i haven't looked at

Now i don't know if i'm on the right path, so any help on how i improve my setup or what i should think about looking at would be appreciated, Thanks

Ps. i use the Bluos app streaming from Tidal or the Heos App streaming from Tidal

Two best ways to improve your setup are going to be:

1) Better speakers
2) DSP
Could you elaborate on speakers?
Is B&W a bad brand?

What kind of DSP would you recommend?
And how do you Connect a DSP?

B&W speakers are not bad. They are likely overpriced and they come with some tuning you might like or not. Many of us prefer less expensive speakers with little or no 'house sound' like b&w has (clear vocals, enhanced treble, uninspired bass).

You'll see major brands recommended like kef and revel as well as small brands like philharmonic Audio.

DSP comes from a few different options. The Wiim ultra has a decent one included. I have gone farther into DSP with a MiniDsp unit and Diraclive. It's quite helpful in many circumstances.
