I would set to small, and try different crossover frequencies from 60 to 100. Ideally, your should get REW (free software), a UMIK 1, and measure the frequency response at each crossover. With that you could also experiment with the level for the sub. Others know more than I on this subject. It’s not all that difficult to do though if you are so inclined.

This is an excellent resource. If you can get to the point of making measurements, you can post the measurements here and folks will help you understand them.

Alternatively you could go the route of using room fit on the WiiM or whatever correction capabilities your AVR has.

About the WiiM I don't have it yet, I'll buy on Monday.

I bought the WiiM Ultra and it will arrives probably on Monday. Despite of that, I have the opportunity to receive as a gift from my uncle an Emotiva USP1. What you think about that? Unnecessary or could bring a better quality sound?

It would be a fun and nice thing too have in your setup, but you would have to route any inputs to it to the Wiim and then back to the pre via the tape-out/tape-in function if you want the benefits of Wiim's RoomFit.

Since I use the Denon for music and movies, the purpose of the USP will be separate (when I listen to music) the pure stereo audio management from the Denon will enhance the overall sound fidelity. It will act as the analog "brain" of the system, ensuring the cleanest possible signal arrives to Denon. So, the pure analog signal will be delivered direct to the Denon without its converting to digital. Am I wrong? And also, it will be a gift

That's the most "difficulty" thing to do.

Speakers taste are subjective, very much personal. For me speakers "X" could sound amazing, for you could sound not so bad or vice-versa.

I don't like very much of "hot" highs (B&W signature), probably, I've get used to it, since I've being listening B&W for 30 years. Also, I've felt a lack of "punch" bass. That's my experience with 602 S1.

However, the 606 S3 is widely known for being analytical, open, and full of energy, with a strong emphasis on high-resolution treble and clarity of detail. It's famous for focusing on a lively, revealing, and dynamic sound. I've never heard them before, tomorrow will be the first time.

I do like strong bass and not too brightness in highs, therefore, without sacrificing detail and refinement. That's why I´ve suggested the Monitor Audio Silver 100 7G. Also I've never heard them before.

About the KEF LS50, I see they placed in the middle of both (606 S3 and Silver 100), the most balanced speakers. Or I am wrong?

yes - the main thing is to try as many as you can - reviews and even measurements won't tell you very much about how they actually sound in your own room.

Actually Toole’s work showed that in blind tests, listener’s preferences were consistent regardless of the room. Yes the room does have a significant impact, but to a large extent better speakers sound better regardless of the room.

Finally the WiiM Ultra arrived. I'm impressed how the sound got much better! I already used the RoomFit, crossover set 80Hz and Denon set in Direct Mode. For me the sound turn from water to wine. I still have to try others setups, but, I'm really impressed and happy.

Last night I was trying a few setups and the crossover at 75Hz was way better than 80Hz. I also tried at 70Hz, was good though, BUT, some songs the bass was too thin for me. So, 75Hz will be the final decision.

The Sub level is -5dB, delay is +5.32ms (that's for me was the most important aspect), because, NOW the integration between Speakers + Sub it's perfect.

If you're not entirely happy with 70 or 75 then don't discount trying 74, 73, 72 etc - it doesn't have to be either 70 or 75hz. I had a similar trial and error with Lintons, and 57hz seemed to blend better with my sub than either 55 or 60hz. Volume wise I would use my sub volume knob to get close to what I want and then trim +/-1db, 2db etc using the WiiM digital volume, until it was perfect/ seamless blending with the speakers.

I noted recently that Wiim is running a beta on the ultra where the phase and volume of the sub is automatically calculated. Given it's a beta, results look mixed for now, but might be worth a look anyway if you just want to play around for a bit. You can opt in by going into the app and going to your Ultra's info section where you can check for firmware updates - there will be an option below to choose a beta firmware to try out.

To avoid me going back through 10 pages, is this a surround sound setup via the Denon, or just stereo + sub, and you're using the Denon for amplification only?

For volume control I would normally say take a line out / RCA from the Wiim and put to your front left and right "Ext. In" on the Denon, and use the Wiim for volume control, that way you bypass any processing on the Denon and it's just amplifying a room corrected signal from the WiiM. If you have a TV you can also run that via hdmi to the WiiM, and then plug accessories like your Chromecast onto the TV hdmi inputs. However this isn't necessarily the best idea if you have surround speakers or for some reason you can't plug stuff into your TV, so what are you using it for?
