Anyone experience with these stands or the website/shop:

It seems a bit odd that the only reviews are from the own site

I have a pair of Eternal 4.2s. They are one of my most favourite speakers of all time, and I currently own ~50 pairs. They are truly amazing, and I consider Spotless to be the Unofficial Rogers, if they moved to Taiwan in the 90s, and then relentlessly followed the BBC philosophy of resonant cabinet design. They also look incredible, and sound crazily good. The SEED one-ways + SEED subwoofers are definitely in my future!

Personally, I would never bother with such an unstable, top-heavy stand. Newtons laws mean that stand and speaker combination will oscillate according to Newtons Laws of Motion. Even sub-micron sized movements of the cabinet cause substantial smearing as the cone loses its grip on the air, when the cabinet moves opposite to the cone movement.

I block the ports on the Eternals, and I always high-pass them at 100Hz. This allows them to perform as they should, with the low tones passed off to two heavily mass-damped stereo passive subwoofers of substantial capability. I usually drive them with ZA3 monoblocks on GaN PSUs. I can't recommend them enough.

I usually have the Eternals jammed up against a wall, with their back corners about 2cm from the wall, to get the very pleasing boundary effect this creates. But crucially, I mass-damp them strongly. They have cork feet, and sit on top of a stack of four 5Kg concrete pavers, each of which is bonded together using BluTack. The bottom paver also has cork feet, which engage strongly with the wood surface of my 150Kg 40mm thick desktop. This effectively anchors the Eternals and greatly reduces cabinet micromovements.

However, they also sound great when moved out into the room. My normal distance for them in my symmetrical high-passed 2.2 system in the lounge is about 50cm from the heavy curtains which hang behind my 6-pair speaker array.

What I call the QTBS - Quick Trick Block Stack - is by far the best kind of speaker stand I have ever used. The pavers are 45mm thick, and so very precise alignment of a speaker's acoustic center (Usually the tweeter) can be placed exactly at ear height. The ~20cm of extra height above the desk, and matching neoprene mousepads left and right (in front of the speakers) radically reduces early desktop reflections, which are the kiss of audio death to a desktop system.

I hope this helps!

Oh thanks for the very detailed info! Would you by chance have some images of your setup i am very curios to see it and also if i can replicate it :-)

I'm at the store this morning, but here is a pic of a QTBS as described above. With the gorgeous JVC EX-A5 wood cones sitting atop the 18cm and 20Kg stack.
Have fun!
