Spirits, what you drinking...

I've got a bottle of the Elijah Craig Rye working right now. Always a good one to come back to, and highly regarded.

Had a run with some Rittenhouse Rye for a few bottles, then just for kicks a bottle of Old Overholt BIB.

For my next rye adventure- I was thinking about the Bardstown Origin Rye and/or the Whistlepig PiggyBack 6 year...curious if anyone has experience with them

Whistlepig does some nice stuff but can get pricey. Dunno if it's always as good as the cost. Piggyback was meant to be a more affordable option, iirc. Unfamiliar with the Bardstown.

I like the Bardstown. I have in on my shelf. For the roughly same price you can get the New Riff Rye or Michter's Rye, both of which I'd probably reach for first. The New Riff probably has the most spicy rye quality of the three--so if you really want to taste and smell the rye, see if you can try a sip of the New Riff!

Never had that Whistlepig, but generally good stuff!!

Love the Elijah Craig stuff. The regular Bourbon and Rye are shelf essentials, and the 94 proof on the Bourbon makes an Old Fashioned that lets the Bourbon shine through!

An American tradition. 17 pounds of apples per bottle.

I haven't posted an image recently but I'm on Android and it's never happened to me
Happy for you. The Pic is completely fine in my gallery and was taken upright, I have also tried to rotate it before posting (which is silly) and it still happens. You have seen the evidence. Samsung S23 Ultra. No issues from computers.
PS: it seems to depend on the way you attach the Pic.

I grew up 30min west of Pikesville, MD

Pikesville Rye

First produced in Maryland in the 1890s, Pikesville Rye, along with the rest of the once-booming Maryland Rye industry, was shuttered by Prohibition. The brand reemerged after Prohibition and became the last standing Maryland Rye, as the rest of the industry's production had ceased. Now produced in Kentucky from extra-aged barrels stored in prime warehouse locations, Heaven Hill Distillery keeps this historic Maryland mark alive.

Proof: 110 Proof
Age: 6 Years Old

My point was it may be the S23 camera app not Android

it seems to be about avoiding the "attach files" (on bottom) and instead using the image icon (on top). Lower image using "attach", correct on using image icon on top next to link... nothing wrong with the camera app, it's pretty awesome (and I have real cameras).

If you need any help to carry home the paycheck just let me know ? ;)

Is it true that the ellagic acid from whiskey aged in oak barrels provides health benefits? Is that why Frank Sinatra called Jack Daniels "Nectar of the Gods"?
