Coquito… made by a native Boriqua (Puerto Rican). The original made with Coco Lopez!!

I was in the US Army in San Juan from 1962 - 1965. The Microbiology staff, three Puerto Rican ladies, taught me how to make Coquito using Ron Barrelito, a local rum. One of my fondest memories of RUSAH (Rodriguez US Army Hospital).

Elijah Craig Bourbon with a giant cube of ice
- not the best bourbon in the world but at 20 bucks a bottle it's the DBR62 of bourbons
Can't find Buffalo Trace anywhere - this isn't as nice but it's close

Oh, very nice. I've had everything up to the 12 yo (still half a bottle of that in the cupboard)

I tasted the 16 at the Bushmills distillery in 2011. I also had the 21yo. It was quite a boozy afternoon as there were a number of non whiskey drinkers in the party. We got all their drinks too.

One of my favourite family photos of all time - including my late Dad. As you can see, he was enjoying the whiskey also.

What a lovely photo to have, good times. These memories are so valuable. I was gifted this from a client, it's a lovely whiskey. Had a couple of glasses last night playing zoom poker with the boys. My boss, not a whiskey drinker, will be gifting me his one too. Good times indeed.

I have a bottle of the Redbreast 21 stashed in the cellar awaiting my son's 21st birthday.

(And another bottle next to it for me, just in case it turns out to be as amazing as the reviews all say it is)
