Speakers for imperfect listening positions

But that would affect the other person in the room that is sitting towards the other speaker. Currently that seat isn't bad, I'm guessing because there is a wall along that side so that side gets reflected sounds that makes it seem less direct from the speaker.

I'd love to listen to a set of those and/or the Larsen speakers.
I'm in Rhode Island, Ohm is in Thomaston, CT (apparently they've moved from Brooklyn, NY), and they have a 120 day home trial. If you're near me you're welcome to visit.
Imo the Ohms work best with a fair amount of distance between themselves and the walls. This is generally the case with omnis and quasi-omnis, but it's not a disaster if the reflection paths are shorter than would be ideal.
Imo the Larsens are more of a precision device tailored for a specific use case. They really need to be right smack up against the front wall. The Larsens' frequency response takes the reflection off the front wall into account which means that if the front wall reflection is not there, occuring at the time it is expected to, the frequency response will be degraded. But when they are positioned correctly, the frequency response is considerably better than a non-purpose-built speaker in the same location.

I cycled a few different speakers through checked the measurements on REW.
The green is the worst at sounding like I'm listening to a single speaker. It is also the most detailed sounding of the speakers.
The blue and the orange still blend decently with the left speaker. While there is clearly more sound coming from in front it doesn't over power the other speaker to the point the green one does. It isn't the best soundstage but it also isn't distracting.
The orange is the most pleasant, except at even slightly higher volume levels it doesn't sound as good, I'm guessing that is because of what shows in the distortion measurements

Are the 5 dB higher levels to the green speaker's upper frequencies enough to make the highs seem that much more directional?

I wish I had the nerve to order something that expensive from an individual. I've gotten to where I will generally only order things over $50 from a couple stores I regularly deal with, due to bad experiences.
I appreciate the offer, unfortunately I'm on the other side of the country. I may have to do more in home trials, but not looking forward to shipping more speakers back.
Their West Coast dealer is in LA if want to listen. Have not heard them but would really like to. I planning installation of in-wall (long story) so Larsen is not candidate.
Those Devialet Bluetooth speakers should be a crime. $900 only gets you SBC or AAC.
