Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately reality bit me. As much as I'd like them. They wont fit in my space. They sold for £156 in the end.

Yes indeed. Cambridge Audio was a different company to IMF.
Yes and I need to clarify a bit more.
1. The Cambridge was call the R50, not the A50. I bought a pair of these for my late brother-in-law at a ridiculous price and he used them for decades until his passing. Before I gave them to him I tried to tweak them but ended up leaving the standard config. I assessed them side-by-side with my own IMF-based system (same drivers, different XO) based on notes from John Wright and constructed like the RSPM (Reference Standard Professional Monitor) but with the external enclosures for the mid/high drivers as in the SACM (Special Application Control Monitor). They were really good and at the price we paid ($500/pair), they were killers.
2. The DIY version of the Cambridge went by another classic name which escapes me now. It was smaller than even the R50 and more like the R40.

Mapuguaquen / crowdfund speakers

Made from carefully selected natural materials: clay, wood, leather and wool, the speakers are a truly eco-friendly product.
An expression of regional cultural identity and ancestral crafts tradition

Nice to see inside photos of the amazing Genelec speakers.

I'll second that. Not a fan of the aesthetic, but pic gave me a much greater appreciation for the their design prowess. :)

The CBT36 was a complex kit, but the (mainly) completed cabinets helped...

On the strength of this photograph, I'd have to agree it appears to be optimistically priced (i.e., from the perspective of its manufacturer).
I don't know the street value of the drivers, though...
