Indeed you did give away some amazing merch, including the Parasound to my son and I. Thanks again.

You may want to go to the club website AZAVCLUB.com and sign up for the newsletter. There was a write up
in the last issue you may want to read. That is free.

I have attached the poll results for the event. This tally was submitted by roughly 1/2 the attendees. The staffing personnel
did not vote. Nothing scientific about this. Just hearing preferences in those rooms.

I believe some of the smaller speakers, Sonus Faber Lumina 2, Totem Sky and SpeakerLab Point 1+ were at a disadvantage
in these larger rooms and the scoring reflects this.

Subsequently we did learn that one speaker was not working properly. The last minute sample from LSA had a woofer out.

Now I am curious to hear from our sister club in the bay area what the results of this weekend's cable shoot out they are.

I hope the biggest takeaway from our event is that other clubs throughout the US may consider planning similar events.
Once the products have been secured for one event, logistically there could be a daisy chain of events monthly in the biggest
dozen US cities. I feel this is one of the highest and best functions of audiophile groups.
Most of the products we presented are simply not available for most people to hear. This is a win/win for everybody.

We were graced with representation by some of the manufacturers. ATC by Lone Mountain Audio. Philharmonic by Dennis Murphy.
SpeakerLab by the owner Tom Hall, KLH by the National Sales Manager. Parasound by Phil Jackson. Straightwire by Jerry Willsie.
Leo Ayzenshtat founder of Orchard Audio chose to take a room of his own to demonstrate his exciting amps.
The event would be improved if all of the makers could have representatives present to explain their products to the audience and
ensure the setup works well for their product. Those manufacturers who did come were treated to a dinner out on the club the night before the event.

A good time was had by all!!
