I'm considering purchasing the SP6HD stands for my speakers and placing my Isoacoustics stands on top of them. My main goal is to reduce the vibrations and noise I'm currently experiencing on my desk, aiming for a cleaner sound. However, I've noticed that there aren't many detailed reviews available for these stands. Kanto claims that their stands help with noise reduction, but I'm unsure how accurate this is. Do you think the SP6HD would be a good solution, or should I explore other options?

They're steel stands with some foam on them. That's the usual approach in this situation so they're probably as good as any other option. If they meet your height and footprint requirements, go for it.

What about them makes them unusual? What's the standard?

Nothing strikes me as unusual about them.
Oh, apologies. I must have read that originally as unusual.

But how to these stack up against the $1,200 speaker stands?

I prefer clamped stands. Vivo brand is fine, and about $50.

As long as you isolate the speakers properly from the stands I think you are good to go. Just make sure the height of the stands raises the speakers so that their acoustic axis is in the same height of your ears, or at least tilt the speakers acoustic axis towards the height of your ears.

SP6HD paired with the ISOAcoustics is what I was thinking. Is tilting bad?

At what height is the acoustic axis of your speakers, is it at the level of the tweeter, or is it at the height between the tweeter and the bass driver, or something else?
Figure that out and buy speaker stands that including the isolation feets raise the acoustic axis point of your speakers to the same height as your ears at the listening position.

If you can’t find speaker stands that put your speakers at that optimal height, you can as a secondary choice find something that you can use to tilt your speakers so that their acoustic axis is pointing toward your ears. :)
