Is there a way to fix this (or a better option for a mini amp with treble/bass control that will allow me to turn off with the power strip?) I'm using the original Fosi BT20A.
The Guardian-86 is a high-end solid state speaker protection circuit board module for use in audiophile audio amplifiers. The Guardian-86 uses MOSFETs instead of relays to protect your speakers resulting in better performance and better protection of your speakers.

I’m not buying this. It’s too expensive. I can get a new and better amp for less than that. Is there an amp that doesn’t have this behavior?
It’s not the end of the world but I have to adhere to a specific startup and shutdown procedure to avoid the popping. (turning the BT20A off at the amp before anything else, and turning it on after turning on everything else at startup.)
I really liked using one switch for all my speakers before I got the BT20A. Oh well.
I would question why a 'pop' is a problem? Yes, it's nicer if there's no switch-on or switch-off pop, but if it's a 'pop' rather than a 'THUMP' why it matters?
My amps have a quiet pop on switch-on (silent on switch-off) which I've taken to mean, "Hello, Let us entertain you"
I would get concerned with a massive THUMP, as that can damage stuff and frighten the horses, but a pop?
This is not a serious problem, so don't stay awake trying to fix it. I take it that you're trying to avoid 'vampire power leakage', hence the power strip. Don't worry about yr power bill going up a nickel, unplug the unit from the strip and plug it into the wall. And I would leave it on all the time, like I do with my Topping PA3s.
