Speaker cable question for Krell 700cx to Revel Perfomabe 328be -Kimber 12TC / Carbon 16

I have watched Audioholics YouTube on snake oil when it comes to speaker cables. I am contemplating ordering Kimber 12TC or Carbon 16 bi wire two separate cables vs their Bi wire with one cable and somehow ending up with two low and two high ends. Not sure if it is necessary to use two separate cables to bi wire or use the cheaper bi wire set up they offer. If I go with my gut even though the Krell 700cx is a monster and the very well thought of 328be speakers full standing full range speakers do I even need Carbon 16 or stick with Kimber12TC even Kimber 8TC should suffice if you do not fall for the smoke and mirrors from Audioquest and others. I want to get these ordered so looking for knowledgeable advice. Thanks, Terry

Anything other than Belden 5000UP—or an equivalent from another manufacturer—is a waste of money. Wire and Cable Your Way, $1.79/ft.

I used Canare 4S11 with my Revel 328be driven by pair of Benchmark AHB2s. It is a quality 11-gauge wire, which you could bi-wire with, but there is no reason to do so. Bi-wiring will not bring you any sound improvements, it's just more psudeo-science marketing nonsense. You can get the Canare through many different vendors for much, much less than the KimberKable. Blue Jean cable is an often mentioned vendor, because they make quality termination, but there are others.

Kimber is just as much a waste as Fraudioquest. Ridiculous prices. Bi-wiring is a waste. Passive bi-amping generally a waste. The extra terminals are about selling non-necessary wire to "audiophiles"

Man, go ahead and bi-wire. Use the Canare 4S11 and feel good about your system. It’s gonna sound fantastic! In the meantime you can keep reading and learning about what’s real and what’s not here at ASR.

The only time bi wire can fulfill a function is for those who insist on popping a tube amp into the hifi chain. Instead of spending ridiculous amounts on tube amp power to handle the lowest frequencies, let a class D amp take care of the speaker's bass.
In the case of Revel 328be with everything below 280 Hz.

Of course cumbersome and backwards, when you just as well have a good class D amp that takes care of everything (+ better than the tube amp), but you know I'm talking about tube dude lovers who can't let go of old-fashioned technology.

KabelDirekt wire as seen on Amazon is fine, plus some nice connectors and you're done.

If not, a bit of twin & earth mains cabling works fine, but is a bit stiff, and not good at transmitting all the microwaves from an LP.

If you want to spend a lot of cash on speaker cables, just buy the ones you think look the best.

It won't make any difference to the sound quality unless you really cheap out or fall for some esoteric cable that has passive components that intentionally change the tonal characteristics.

I am fond of World’s Best Cables on Amazon of Blue Jeans Belden or Carnare with their ultrasonically welded connectors. Want to spend more, get some Mogami.

The only cables that ever made any difference in sound was an expensive set of Wireworld cables. They didn’t solder the connectors properly and they corroded.
