Hi, I currently use either my phone (Samsung S22) or Asus laptop as a source for my Sony bluetooth headphones. Is ipossible to have a better quality source or is the bluetooth connection a limiter on quality?

The Samsung S22 supports LDAC according to this, which supports higher bitrates (normally 660kbps) than lossless audio, but lower than CD.
I doubt that this will be the weakest link.

The PC is probably only connecting using the basic SBC codec which actually sounds quite good at high bitrates.

The Sony headphone app should show which codec you are using.

Of course there are actual codecs with different capabilities, but they have not that big influence on sound quality.

I use for example a Qudelix 5k connected to an IPhone via bluetooth and IPhone don't support LDAC (as far as I know) but sound quality is very good.
