Taking @AdamG 's advice and starting a thread on this topic. Does anyone have any science based measurements of these speakers and subsequently how they sound? It would be great to see some frequency charts in room, treated and untreated.

So you want links to measurements? I don't think I have seen any and it might be more productive for you to reach out to Soundfield directly I think.

Last time I asked him for measurements, I got nothing. This was in heated discussions on audiogon. I have known him for two decades and have yet to see a less mean spirited person than him.

I suspect this will be a quiet thread. One idea is for @prestigetone to ask Soundfield for a few measurements to kick things off.
Not going to happen. AJ is not a nice guy as is evidenced by the fact that he was unceremoniously banned from ASR. Anyone can feel free to reach out.

It will be quiet because almost no measurements exist. Why not just post them on the manufacturers website? There are surely people on here who have some that they can measure in their room. I believe some do and just have not done it yet.

Oh wow, that’s a shame. I heard of the brand first from MKR - figured another direct brand like Dennis Murphy’s Philharmonic Audio. Those have plenty of measurements online though. Wonder if Audioholics would look into a soundfield speaker…

MKR has a pair now and another pair before that where they were talking about measuring them with a umik-1 but it didn't happen. Philharmonic Audio is fantastic. If I went passive that would be my only short list!

Don't sugar the pill; tell us what you really think. :)

Disappointing. This is turning out to be a “criticize Soundfield/AJ“ thread.

I don't understand the point of this thread. OP would like measurements of speakers of a company.
People suggest for him to reach out to the company if he would like to see measurements (sound advice), he says he wont do it.

OP already made clear that he dislikes the owner in multiple other threads, so what is the point of all this? Just an excuse to re-hash and reinforce the point that OP thinks the company is not "science based" and the owner is a bad person?

Btw, I never heard of the company or owner, nor am I interested in their speakers, I just read the forum, so I am aware of the opinion of some of the people involved in this thread.

No this a, show me objective data on ASR thread. AJ is free to try and post here again, and I think he reads all the posts.

If I had a pair I would gladly do it. There are people with these speakers in hand who can take measurements. Some people say they are best in show. How I feel about the owner has little to do with how I want to see measurements. Ideally I would like them on a Klippel. A lot of brains are doing cardioid, I think the designs are interesting and for the price I want to see how they measure.

It's not. It's just like a lot of discussions on here. People will claim that Wilson or Magico sound best and then they either change their opinion or their opinion is confirmed by data. I've seen people say these sound the best out of any speaker they've heard. All I want to know is how they measure. It's not that deep.
