Interesting, are all those microphones testing for off axis measurements trying to quantify immersiveness?

An interesting development which I welcome. These days soundbars are, along with wireless speakers, the audio equipment of choice for most people. Some of them are really rather good but some aren't and it is nice to see a pretty objective site lite Rtings start testing them.
