Just saw this post on reddit, that mentions that both Sound United and Emotiva are increasing prices as of Jan 2022:

I asked about the source of this information, and here was the reply:
For Sound United, an email blast went out to dealers recently.
For Emotiva, one of their guys let it slip during a phone call- though I don’t think it was meant to be confidential in the first place.

Sound United is a parent company for these brands:
1. Denon
2. Polk
3. Marantz
4. Bowers & Wilkins
5. Definitive Technology
6. Heos
7. Boston Acoustics
8. Classe

Good time to buy Denon AVR-X3700H before New years...:)
Or Polk R200 perhaps.

Well, that's not a bit surprising...discuss!

Harman Pro is doing the same thing (JBL, AKG, etc.).

Didn't Harman home and pro prices just go up 10% in September or October?

Or do you mean the not-honoring-the-old-price-for-backorders part? Or both?

Awe, LOL

Any idea how much increase in terms of % on emotiva products? SVS did the same but they showed the to-be increased price on each for weeks. before

One more nail in South African AV sellers' coffin.

Noticed when Amir reviewed KEF LS50 Metas the article said $1500 a paid. They're $1600 a pair ever since I actually ran into the review.

go for used/refurbished and seasonal sales! ;)
$1440 on Best Buy for Like New condition. :^)

Metas don't go on sale due to being new speakers (relatively). R3 goes on sale. Ebay has auctions off and on but I lose 5 year warranty.

Emotiva B1+ seems to be $380 a pair, C1+ the same, T1+ $1000 a pair.

There goes the budget darlings, back to the JBL Stage A130.
