Songs with Epic Dynamic Progressions - Calm & Beautiful to Intense

Sweet.

(Is fully mono, yeah? or has something gone wrong?)
No it is mono those multitrack files are sometimes even found on SoundCloud. .

Did the same with Peg focussing on Larry Carlton an Chuck Rainey's Bass but in Stereo.

You need a DAW like Ableton or Pro Tools.

Things probably somewhat derailed from the OP's intent, but I'd just like to say how much I enjoy that very first example they posted in the first post. I put it on with some regularity Thanks!

My internet is loading way slow tonight so I can't see all that's been recommended here in decent time. But in the first three pages, how has White Rabbit not been mentioned?

So -- I am very, very late to this party! :( Indeed, I never saw this thread before tonight, apparently.
So, this is probably too little and way too late but I will still offer two thoughts.

1) Consider giving a listen to Crack the Sky's Nuclear Apathy. It covers a lot of ground and is still a favorite of mine.
The studio version is very fine but so are myriad live versions released over the years (decades). Here's the original studio version.

2) Pete Townshend and his band were, on the average (pun sort of intended) the long-time masters of dynamics in rock 'n' roll. I'd consider that ol' warhorse, Won't Get Fooled Again, with an acoustic guitar strummin' along almost all of the way through it, a seminal example, but I suspect most of the world's tired of it by now, so try one of his/their other examples, such as Bargain.
