Songs that cheer you up and put you in a good mood

This morning driving to my gym, I listen to two One Hit Wonders,
Baltimora - Tarzan boy & Paris Hilton - Stars are blind,
that made me in a good mood ( och lite små sugen…)

Ha ha. Baltimore - Tarzan boy. It had been several decades since I heard it. I remember everyone going around singing oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-ooooh-oh-oh-ooooh on the dance floors. :)

Eurovision song contest has had a lot of feel-good songs like this one:

..and this one:

Perhaps best known to Americans in this cover:

Too many to list (again) and the choice varies almost by the hour. Currently reminiscing and missing the past and remember nearly fifty years ago, wondering what the feeling the song's about would be like - now I well and truly know - and I haven't reached my seventies yet... And yes, I do realise the actual lyrics predate my times by many decades but still...

That's right. There are tons of songs like that. :)

Here's the Dutch feeling good with one of their songs: :)

I loved this back in the 70s and in 1995 I got to feel the vibe for myself ( I can't describe it, you have to feel it for yourself). I still play it in my head from time to time and she's even more amazing thirty years later than I felt back then -

A couple more... This is my ringtone, Richard Thompson and friends are excellent on this version of an Okinawan song.

And I don't normally go to Gillian Welch for cheer, but this is joyous

OOoof - I feel this thread gives too much away ;=)) However...

How about a song that is soooo bad, its great - don't ask why, where, or how - but cheekkaaa bamboni!

and if that doesn't get you in a mooood, then you need to have a kiki

and if nothing else works - don't stop believeing
