Soncoz SGD1 DAC + Monoprice 788 DAC/Amp: No Audio

Hello,

I recently made the decision to purchase a Rebel Amp, and I figured I would also purchase a Soncoz SGD1 as my DAC. I received the SGD1, but I'm still waiting on the Rebel. So in the meantime, I attempted to run my audio through the SGD1 DAC and the 788 as my amp.

PC motherboard -> SGD1 USB -> 788 RCA
SGD1 is set to USB B
788 is set to RCA LINE

I have the SGD1 as the default sound device in Windows 10, and my Neumann NDH-20s plugged in to the 788. Is my setup incorrect, or is this a software problem?
I should mention this is my first attempt at not using a straight DAC/Amp alone.

Looks like it ought to work. Can you get buzz when unplugging the RCAs at the DAC and touching the ends? Not sure what could be wrong there, honestly.

I managed to get it to work. I was right about it being a software issue. I don't think Windows liked the new driver... I restarted it and disconnected/reconnected the USB a few times. I always tend to have a heart attack when new toys don't work right away.

I have asrock a320m-hdv r4.0 as my MOBO, i just bought an amp and a nice pair of headphones? should i get a dac too? id really appreciate any and all help!
