This will be perfect for my office desktop, just waiting for it to be released on the Topping official store on AliExpress to order mine. 
Other than DAC + speaker amp combo units, Topping is leaving the other Chinese competition in the dust.
SMSL used to have much cheaper prices for equivalent feature sets to around 2025 but has got massively outcompeted since then. Their last attractive product IMO was the C200 combo DAC + HPA. They are cooked once Fiio's $140 Audio One DAC + speaker amp combo doesn't disappoint.

Usb-c can easily deliver 240w these days. This draws less than 20w

That is true for USB Power Delivery (PD) devices like chargers. Very few host devices like tablets or PCs support PD at all (as a source - nearly all modern tablets are a PD sink for charging). In those cases, you can typically expect no more than 1.5 A @ 5 V even on a USB C connector.
In this case, Topping provides a C-C as well as an A-C cable with the DAC, so it's safe to assume that it will run at 5 V and pretty safe to assume that it won't consume more than those 1.5 A.
My point is usb-c has potentials (keyword, potentials) to deliver power to almost anything except for high power Amp. So there is nothing to worry about it with this tiny dac + hp amp.

It is "impressive" in the context of DAC/Amps without additional power sources. For example, on the spec sheet, DX1 ii outputs 3 ~ 4 times more power than DX1. I have never seen a DAC/Amp without additional power source produces this much power (I may have missed some devices). Topping G5 outputs a similar level of power but it has a battery. I wonder what changed, why this level of power was not possible before.
I'm writing this while looking at my Topping D10s/JDS Labs Atom mk1 stack....... "Thank you for the music, but it's time we moved on".
I just hope this box does power-off like the Atom does with the volume knob. My audio PC is left on 24/7 as I do folding@home with it, so I have to keep disconnecting the USB cable from the back of the D10s to power it off whenever i'm finished with it.

Update:
DX1ii will be Topping's first device with web-based driver, also with a web community where users can share their PEQ settings.
And DX1ii can be used as a PEQ interface like:
- USB or OPT in -> DX1ii PEQ -> OPT out -> another DAC;
(this can save A LOT old DACs, this's phenomenal)
Info came from Topping's official chatting group, in Chinese.
As for the price, I guessed around 600 CNY in the main thread two months ago, but now that seems a bit off.
Based on the official group chat, it'll be under 1k CNY for sure — so under 147 USD. My personal guess is that the launch promoprice in China will be around 800-900 CNY, so 120-130 USD, bit higher than 90 USD, but I think it's still pretty competitive.
But, these are just guesses, we'll have to see how things go once it's actually out.
