Hi Folks,
I've been a long time reader of this forum and thought that I'd finally make an account and see if I can get some advice about something I am putting together.
I currently have just a logitech Z906 sytem with a creative X3 DAC that is plugged into my computer and am wanting to step it up a little more to something a little higher up.
Below are the items that I am looking at purchasing;
- miniDSP Flex - TRS Balanced version
- Adam Audio A4V Studio Monitors (4inch ones)
- KRK S10.4 Studio Subwoofer x 2 (I would like to have a left and right channel sub)
- WorldsBestCables TRS to XLR Balanced x 4 (or a Mogami equivalent but in my research the WorldsBestCables (WBW - https://worldsbestcables.com/) are extremely close \ almost identical)
This will be getting a signal \ input from my computer via USB.
My questions are;
1. Will all this work correctly from that DAC?
2. From what I have been reading, from within the software for the miniDSP Flex, you can setup each of the 4 output ports with high and low cross overs within profiles for each and have them left and right channels etc. is this correct?
3. Can I have 1 active sub and 1 active monitor on the left and the same on right?
4. How good are the cross overs in the miniDSP Flex? Will I be able to set this all up correctly for proper hz range separation?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Brett
