I have an SMSL M500 I picked up used on eBay 2 months ago to use along with my Hypex ncore amplifier. With dual optical, USB & coax inputs and XLR Out, it was the perfect beast I needed. However due to incompatibility with my LG TV's optical output(Apparently known issue with LG TVs), I can't use it against my main source for TV watching. I was advised to have it shipped to China for an update, but have decided against shipping it for now. I wanted to see if I can pickup another version if the DAC instead.
The SMSL M500 version is HW 1.3 SW 1.6. Features a ES9038PRO D/A Chip. I will post the pics over the weekend. UK shipping only.
