One beautiful vintage Proton amplifier for sale. Original owner, non-smoking home with only minor scratches, recently cleaned and tested. Output relays have been replaced. One recently sold on ebay for $450. Am asking $360 and will pay shipping within continental US. Here are pics...

Thought would try here first, but if no takers, will move to ebay by the weekend...

If you are looking for an amp for a solid smaller setup, this is a nice dual monoblock design with dual toroidal transformers. Power is rated conservatively and ample headroom for most needs. The front panel is real glass and shows part of build quality that is hard to find these days!

Great to see pics of another one; I sold my AA-1150 in 2006 to partially fund my purchase of a Bryston 4B-ST.

Quirk Audio has been recommended several times on ASR, but I’m not sure where they are located. It’s probably in ASR somewhere. They specialize in NAD gear and Proton is a close cousin.

Quirk Audio is in Berkeley, CA. Found that in a post by @EJ3 .

Damn, that's a fine amp! I always wanted them when they first came out back in the days. Good luck with selling it.

Must resist. Wanted one for 30 years, but have a Sunfire and NAD already.

I'll take it if it is still available. Too pretty to pass up! PM me and we can figure out the details.

Thanks, Jeff

nice amp. Had a couple of D1200s over the years (the AA-1150's big brother) and regret selling them. The Proton Dynamic Power is outstanding.

Received the amp yesterday and wanted to give a public thank you to Rick. The condition is amazing, the packaging and care that went into assuring a safe arrival was much appreciated. I'll set it up this weekend and see how it sounds.

Now I feel upset that I did not purchase it :(

JK! Congrats on your purchase and that it all turned out great! But, I really do wish I purchased it now. :)
