It started as a sharing a great deal with the people that would most appreciate and understand just that. I know that one other ASR member scooped up a pair and is glad he saw the thread. Mission Accomplished. After that... it morphed into a personal reflection on not taking the experience for granted... again with a membership and demographic that would find some resonance. I'm getting a life... man. ...one seized moment at a time. No worries dude... this thread has run its course. Last thing that I knew... there are still had two pairs left $12-15k... enjoy.
That's sounds highly improbable/unlikely.
You still don't show that they speakers are above anything else. Maybe ASR members should think and act by themselves and not wait for their guru approval...

@amirm has not reviewed the Salon 2s because they weigh a lot and to test them on the Klippel requires lifting them up onto a small maybe 10" (?) square platform and there they will remain for the duration of the Klippel tests. I haven't read the entire review but I trust it's all for the good. There are I believe 4 different write-ups on the Salon 2 here.>
Maybe you live in an anechoic chambrer? I thought your sofa will be more meaningful? I have not heard the Salon 2s but the review in Sterophile states the bass goes wayyy down. Down into the subwoofer range. I would very much like to hear that and the mids and top end with the beryllium drivers.

I think comparing the KEFs to the Salon2s is a bit of a unfair comparison. I'm a loyal KEF follower for all the right reasons as I sold it for 9 years and serviced it as a warranty depot for several years too. KEF is great although in this case not so much. Maybe a Blade is more in the price zone but still a few thousand+ more dollars more.

OK no evidence if I understand properly. Trying to dodge the unavoidable question. So why not questioning what your guru/god is trying to put in you head? This is basically the basis of a scientific reasoning. This is audio sciene review. So I expect that someome can show with some hard evidence that putting this speakers in his/her listening room will be the ‘better‘ in some sense than some speakers with somewhat flat frequency response for 1/5th of the price.
Evidence/tests on these upper end speakers is there sometimes although more limited in quantity than a lower priced speaker. Why don't you attempt whipping up some specs and test graphs yourself to show us? As per @amirm I think we are on the same page as each other in many ways and and I trust his tests and opinions more than any others at this time.
Wow really. I for one find this man’s journey totally enjoyable and a fun read. I have had my pair for 4 years now and enjoy them immensely. One of the great things about ASR is reading about other music lovers finding their nirvana enhanced thru equipment like the salons. Be happy for the man or don’t rain on his enjoyment.
