This is a bittersweet first post.

I've been eagerly following the Ascilab developments and was able to snag the last pair of C6Bs from their most recent restock. They arrived and sound incredible, however my better half has made it known that black speakers are an absolute no-go in our listening room.

Before I ship them back to Ascilab, I wanted to give the opportunity for another enthusiast to grab a pair before the next restock.

Asking $XXX shipped. With tariffs, my cost was $1362.

I'd also be happy to meet in person within a reasonable driving distance of Columbia, MO.

The Ascilab warranty is transferrable to you (I'm happy to provide the original receipt)

Rather than sale, does the design committee recognize paint as a potential solution? If it were me I'd be thinking about doing it myself and / or tracking down a shop to re spray these. The grille cloth can probably be redone pretty easily too. Just trying to help, I wouldn't get these approved for the living room either if it were my house...

I appreciate the recommendation, but I really think I need to go a different direction entirely (Lintons or Q Concertos). The waveguide/phase plug is too "out-there" as far as design.

Off topic (sorry), but I spent four pretty enjoyable years in Columbia, MO. Still miss the pizza at Shakespeare's and the BYFO wings at CJ's.

Amazing! My first official meal in Columbia was splitting a Shakespeare's pizza with the moving company guys.

Tough, but domestic harmony tends to win out in these situations.

I should really start marketing custom "socks" for speakers... I wonder if totally covering it in fabric would solve your aesthetic differences...

I'll bite. Drop me a message

You might want to mention that the ASCILAB warrantee IS transferable, if the original sales receipt is provided.

Wish I had the woofer grilles on mine!
