Hi
First post, noob question. Have some small Dacs in various locations, Topping E30 and SMSL Sanskrit mk2. Use spare bricks that have amassed over time, all 5 volt but amp ratings differ mainly consisting of 0.5, 1 and 2 amp. Is there any benefit to which I use?
Thanks
Thomas

Thanks, was worried one might damage DAC. As you say cannot tell any audio difference.

As long as the charger doesn't fail I don't thnik it will do any damage. Excessive ripple might over time, but I doubt that that's a problem you'd really run into with any half decent charger. I have used different ones over the years, branded ones from phone manufacturers (like Samsung, HTC, Apple etc.) and other ones from Ikea to Anker. Never had (or, well, never noticed anyway) a problem.

I've been using a 5v 2a Samsung charger to run my sanskrit dac for several years with no issue.
Edit: avoid using 0.5a supplies they aren't powerful enough and may cause poor preformance.

I use these since they measure as well as the Apple charger and you need to take those apart to find out if you have a fake one. No rash of fakes for the Samsung. They just work great with DACs like the E30 where it gets at least the power supply away from noisy USB ports. I've sold 8-9 E30's and bundle them in with it. Nice cheap, quiet noise floor with the ETA0U60JBE
