I'm keen to grab one of these for my gaming rig.
I'm currently using my Qudelix 5K to drive my HyoerX Cloud II gaming headset but is is wasted there and not the best form factor for desktop use, none of my other DACs have microphone support.

This new SMSL gaming DAC includes separate and combined headphone and microphone jacks, and a volume knob!

Once some more details emerge regarding the DAC and amplifier power I'll order one.
Heck, for US$50 I'll probably just order it now.

From the manual:

Features:

- Transparent window design, electronic components
are clearly visible;

- 16bit/48kHz DSP digital chip;

- It has four sound modes: music, games, 7.1 virtual
and voice enhancement, which can meet various
daily uses;

- 3 independent audio jack, HPA jack, MIC jack and
MIC+HPA jack, which can easily adapt to a variety of
headphones;

- Small and portable, magnetic base design, flexible
adsorption of metal surface, 3 seconds quick release,
easy to put into the bag, so that good sound is always
with you;

- CNC aluminum alloy shell design has good shielding
performance and effectively reduces noise.

Specifications:

Input Interface..............................................................................USB
Output Interface..........................................3.5mm Headphone Jack
THD+N......................................................................0.0125%(-78dB)
Output Power...............................................................20mW(600Ω)
Dynamic Range..........................................................................91dB
SNR..........................................................................................92dB
Headphone Impedance Support.................................................32Ω
Power Consumption...............................................................<0.35W
Dimensions (W x H x D)................................60X25.9X35mm(WxHxD)
Weight...........................................................................70g/0.154lbs

Definitely doesn't shine for technical performance... so consider it for convenience only. :)

Thanks, I didn't see the manual there.

It certainly won't be getting a recommendation from Amir looking at those specs.
A 600Ω power rating is an odd measurement to include without stating 32Ω power.

It should be fine for my needs, I won't be connecting any demanding headphones or doing any critical listening on this system.

Mine arrived today and it's great.

It is very small but has a magnet, metal plate and a spare adhesive strip to fix it to a desk.
The sound is as good or better than the Qudelix I was using before.
The volume knob controls the pc volume which I prefer to the independent volume system on the Qudelix.
Pressing the knob switches between four sound modes; music (clean, no effects) , game (boosted bass - stupid), 7.1 (stupid simulated effect), voice enhance (???? sounds weird)
I think I'll only ever use the clean "music" setting for music or gaming.
