Hello all -
I’d like to see some recommendations on an amp with these minimum features.
Small footprint class D -
2 analog inputs with at least one being an rca single ended input.
Screen with level display.
Remote control.
Available on amazon in the USA (there is a credit I need to use, the vendor wouldn’t normally matter)

I need volume control with a remote on the speaker amp.

Sources will be a Wiim pro plus and an Oppo ha1 headphone amp DAC in fixed output bypass mode. The Wiim feeds the Oppo and/or the speaker amp with PEQed TV and music , and the Oppo feeds the speaker amp redbook usb Apple Music or EQed output from the Wiim.

It seems that almost all of the under 400$ amps don’t include a remote assuming the user will be using a DAC for volume control which is fine but not what I want in this scenario.

Currently using an old NAD amp that has a burnt circuit board. It’s been running hot as hell for about 13 years. It’s still running- not sure how or for how much longer.

I’m looking at the Aiyima A80 currently, I returned a Wiim Vibelink because it has no remote control.

What are some other options? - I don’t need tons of power. It’s a small room.

Thanks !

I would suggest a Wiim ultra that has volume control with remote and mute function. It has extra inputs for other gear. At 329 dollars its going to be hard to beat. For Amplifiers, if you have decent expensive speakers, try VTV amplifiers. Warren is great to deal with, responsive if there is a problem and the Hypex modules he uses are World class. Warren has many different power and configuration options available. Check them out, I did and I am delighted with what I got from him. Hypex is cost efficient and very neutral sounding. A straight wire with gain. For my use I got 500 wpc amps but he has much smaller ones @125 wpc available at less cost. Check him out. You won't be sorry.

Hello, yes, the A80 would be perfect for that, and I can recommend the Micca RB42 speakers! I have them and I know why they've been so hyped: they're simply awesome. The A80 costs about €200, the Micca RB42 €160, so about €360.

If you hadn't said "small", for $400 I'd usually recommend a receiver or AVR.

They are more mass-produced than integrated amps and sold into a highly-competitive market and you get more for your money.

I paid around $300 for my "basic" 5.1 channel AVR and I'm perfectly happy with it, except it doesn't have any room correction.

The SMSL A300 should meet all requirements, requires only half the budget and runs very cool.

There is a new product. I have not used it. Eversolo Play $700US It's remote is an app if that satisfies your definition of remote. It has a lot of functionality and good published specs we hope ASR measures. You could eliminate some of your current components with that all-in-one.

You could also search the review index for amplifiers or speaker amps and remote. A lot of effort was made to make reviews searchable.
