That was the plan for later tonight but wouldn't have fixed anything. The search index was corrupted likely due to running out of space. Had to create a new one and with half a million posts, took a bit to recreate.

I am using cloudflare already. Saves about 20% which is not bad. Our content is too dynamic for proper caching.

Now that is an idea. I bet it would get rid of all punctuations and spaces, saving us a ton of storage!!!

confirmed, search seems to work fine now.
Also everything seems quite fast. Can't really say if it's faster/slower than usual but I also did not notice a substantial perf decrease yesterday (just search not working for new content.)
