I have a question I just got my new SVS SB-3000 R Evolution yesterday. I hooked it up now after listening to them I think I should have gone ported.

I bought the SVS SB-3000 R Evolution to bring some immersions to my SIM racing rig. Right now I repurposed some Cerwin-Vega R30 that I had in the living room doing nothing aka my wife using them a light stands. Hahah.
I have these big boy's facing towards the corners of the Sim Rig
And then SVS SB-3000 R Evolution in the middle of them.

I also, though about buying some AsciLab C6B bookshelf speakers when they come back in stock and placing these behind my monitors and take the repurposed Cerwin-Vega R30 out of the equation.

A buddy of mine had speakers sitting in the garage doing nothing so I went and got them.

The center is a R-25C Center Channel which is under my sim pedals facing up towards me.

The Klipsch R-15M Bookshelf Speakers are pointing at me ear height wise .

The Receiver is a Yamaha RX-V679 plugged into my computer Asus ROG Astral Liquid Cool GeForce RTX 5090 graphic card. Hdmi to hdmi then hdmi - receiver to the computer monitor.

I'm looking for deep engine rumbling I've been playing with the settings, but I'm not quite there of what I want. So the question is do I need the ported SVS SB-3000 R EVOLUTION to get that type of rumbling.

Side note: I can get my hands on this Receiver if needed.

Marantz SR8012 to do 4 ohms

Thank you for your

M
