Now for some off-topic question that you may have already answered many times before ... why did you tilt the Siranna versus being straight up, like the more expensive Mantas?

The Mantas have custom built stands (included) that are tilted the same 4 degrees, so all three systems have the same tilt (the SBS also have tilted cabinet). :)
 
Understood and thanks for the correction, but what is the theory or logic behind the tilt? Surely it's not to time-align the drivers, is it, like many current speakers do (Arendal 15xx/16xx, SVS, etc)?

This is an excellent opportunity to share my recently added section called "Learn how it's built" on our website:

It contains (among other things) design articles for each of our speaker systems. Unfortunately after skimming them they didn't mention this specific thing all that much. :D

Explanation shared for the SBS:
The cabinet also has a 4 degree tilt. This allows us to tune the speaker to provide slightly more high frequency energy in the room, since the on-axis is tilted slightly away from the listener in the vertical plane, and also in the horizontal plane since they're designed to play without toe-in.


So I'll add that it will also help get a more even frequency response in the reference axis towards the listener, since coax drivers always have some diffraction directly on-axis. Finally it will also give a more even tonality no matter if you're sitting or standing (since you'll be slightly off-axis either below or above the driver), adding to the experience of an even tonality despite moving around in the room.
 
Thanks for the mini-tutorial... the tilt reminds me of the Thiel CS 3.7 below.
