Sigberg Audios dual cardioid protocol explained,
‘The reason why we can have both wideband and high efficiency, is because there are two individual cardioid systems. The 12" midbass driver and the coax driver are in two individual cardioid enclosures covering separate parts of the audio band. So the lower system covers ~80-600hz, and the upper system covers from 600hz and up to the point where the naturally narrow dispersion of the tweeter takes effect.’

Interested to hear how these compare to the other often compared active speakers. Would love to hear about them combined with the KEF KC62s (already own a pair).

What are you planning to use as a front end? Would the Eversolo DMP-A6 work with digital out and volume control?

I have just unpacked two of Sigberg’s D10 subs which I intend to use with the Mantas , jolly heat they are too, dual 10” woofers per sub.

Subwoofer high end premium sealed dual opposed 10 inch Sigberg Audio 10D

A small sealed subwoofer that outperforms high-end floorstanders. High-end premium dual opposed / force cancelling 10" subwoofer. Made for music, made in Norway.

But I do have two KC62s so I could compare and contrast.
Re front end yes the Eversolo DMP should be perfect, I will have time over the weekend to set-up everything.
The sheer scale of the Mantas means they and the 8Cs will have to move into a dedicated room.

So unpacked and just roughly placed, to give you an idea of scale Sigberg ‘Mantas’ next to KEF LS50 wireless.
Build quality, fit and finish of the both the Mantas and dual D10 subs is superb.

@Purité Audio If possible I would suggest having them at least as wide distance between them as you are away from them. Having them even wider is better if feasible in the room. Looks a bit narrow in the photos (if that's where they're going to be).

I would also at least start with less toe-in (0-10 degrees), but feel free to experiment!

They are absolutely awesome, obviously don’t take my word for it, but if you have the opportunity seek them out, they have superb clarity and real weight I don’t think I have heard such clear delineation but not as a product of tipped up highs.
Extremely impressive, better than I could have hoped for.

It is simply coincidence I am listening to the same Lana album, using the Eversolo DMP to feed analogue to the ‘Mantas’ ( they accept both digital and analogue)
