I like the look of the narrow subwoofer, more of this please manufacturers. Sadly a little out of my price bracket, especially if, ideally, I need 3 of them.

No, just a normal listening room. You think 3 is unnecessary?

If you are lucky, even one will work well in your main listening position with a bit of eq. If you require even bass over a wider area, or are limited in placement options, you may need two.

So I agree with Keith that starting with one is a good idea, unless you've already experienced that a single sub doesn't work in your room.

You should use both measurements and listening to guide how many you need. If you're lucky, 1 might be OK over your desired listening area. It is specific to your room reflections and listener positions and sub placement and how close to a response curve you want to get. Anyway, I'd start with 1 and measure and listen then add more as. you find the nulls/dips. Repositioning can make a big difference too, and you might be able to move a null (where reflections cancel) out of the listening area.

@sigbergaudio Very cool! Available for audition in US yet?

Thank you! I'm afraid not, and currently there are no US dealers/retailers either. We are mainly an internet direct company. We have Wyatt Audio outside of New York, but currently that collaboration is mainly around our subwoofers customized for Quad ESL63.

Where in the US are you located, and are there any dealers / retailers near you that you think would be interested in retailing this?
