SHOW US your listening room )

Thanks, the lava lamps remind me of my youth, and Spencer Gifts, and malls. If I cared much about the TV I’d probably figure out a centering solution. Luckily for me the view out the window is much better than anything on that box.

Display is the perfect term for my use. It’s a listening room, sometimes with sports on the display in the background.
I know the feeling, though my view is all on our land, so it's a bit closer. Trees block our view of Short Hill Mountain (aka South Mountain on the more northern end of which is located Camp David). The Blue Ridge is right behind it. But our view is to the north into our own pine woods.

The wide-angle shots make the speakers and screens look far away and close together. Are they toed in? I guess with all the acoustic treatment you dampen the highs. Or maybe you are also using DSP. Nice space.

It looks very much like our landscapes in France. Unless it's in France lol
US, western North Carolina. That high ridge line is the western border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, an old village called Cataloochee is in the valley behind that ridge line. It is the most visited National Park. France sounds lovely if it looks anything like this. I wasn't born here but sought it out for the beauty.

Lovely view, I'd jam some tuba there if I could jam the tuba!

Floor vents defeat moving the art case to center it. Left of the left speaker is where I practice—already tight.

Here is what I see on my 27" desktop monitor (from partial screen capture of your photo):

What a magnificent living room and what a view! If it's in the USA, then you Americans are always one step ahead!

I don't think anyone can be on ASR for a week and not be redirected to dualazmak's sub domain....
I pretend @dualazmak' contribution(s) as audio pRon......unfortunately, my mouse refuses to click on the 'Like' button anymore!

Actually in Yosemite or nearby the park with an incredible view of Yosemite?
It's inside the park gates (but private land). The view is looking west of Yosemite and is of National Forrest.

That Yosemite map brings back memories! Years ago I was in Yosemite driving around. Wanted to leave the park and go back to Nevada. I was in the eastern part of the park. Unfortunately i drove the wrong direction for well over an hour towards the west entrance LOL! You know that sinking feeling you get sometimes? This was that on steroids when i realized i was wasting about 3 hours of driving just to get back to where I started! Never forget it. The park is nice though LOL

at least its a very scenic drive!

My listening room is the bindery part of my studio space. A diffused listening space that has a sweet spot but emphasis is on off axis response and dispersion as I tend to move around a lot. Major epiphany last week when, after 30 years of it creating nulls, I put my big work table on casters so I can roll it out of the way for more listeners or even dancing - happens more frequently than you might think. Mostly all DIY, specs in my sig.

I spent the first 20 years of my career in the creative/print/graphics arts industry. I was on the technical/IT side of things, but I supported hundreds of small print/graphics places around Minneapolis back in the late 90s before the industry started to rally struggle here with the whole dot-com explosion. Every time I see photos of your space I get all nostalgic and feel happy and warm inside.

This is taken in my 2nd listening room, the smaller one with other DIY speakers :

That is such nice and clean set-up.
Almost to the point where it would be a welcomed-fit in any type of listening room, without being garish!
Including, of course, in an imaginative AI created set-up..

Reminds me, once when I had just moved in my present house, I had just painted the wooden ceiling in some room and a friend of mine when seeing the result told me in genuine admiration : "so nice, it looks like plastic !" :facepalm:o_O
