My dedicated listening room (no TV!) is most precious to me. Speakers are little Maggies and Vandersteens. In my book the Maggies kill the Vandys in terms of clarity and definition and imaging. So they're the ones that are actually hooked up, plus they need that 10" Dayton Titanic sub, a nice match.

No DSP for me. The room is actually open ended, backs out to a dining area, then to the foyer, with a kitchen window.

I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but I don't have any complaints. System has always sounded fantastic in this space.

My HT (7.4.4) also is my 2 CH (4 way active) and both systems use the same Infinite Baffle Subwoofer (4 18" FI Drivers vented to attic):

It's a 2.3m x 3.4m wool carpet, about 2cm thick. I shampoo it every year, and it's been freshly shampooed a couple of weeks ago
