Hi amigos,

I wanted to open a little thread just for the pleasure of the eyes)
If you have any photos/videos etc of your listening room, post your pictures here)

I'll open the dance, knowing that I recently updated my speakers and replaced the Elacs with a 2.1 system, but it still gives an idea of my listening room. (living room for me)

The front wall, part of a 7.3.4 Dolby Atmos system. The fronts LCR are custom DIY open baffles; the subs are 3 BIC America Acoustech PL-300IIs; surround beds are Magnepan 1.6QRs, and the height speakers are KEF Q150s.View attachment 479016

Impressive system wouaaa )

I have neither the skills, nor the diligence, nor the time to generate beautiful 3D view.
And this is almost the worst time to show off my interior. Everything is rearranged and a lot is out of place.
But Quod tibi hoc alteri.
Just three stacked phone photos. The toilet is on the left in the dark:

So, this is the carpet I saw so many times on LeBonCoin... :D

This is what I had before the Klipschorns, the famous Cornscala’s. Very similar to the LaScalas but with a 15 inch woofer facing you. Hate to sell them but I need the room. 20 feet apart and 2 watts of power more than fills the room. 103db sensitivity.

Subwoofers can be seen in the corners. There are four monoblocks here and an 8 channel DAC. They are all in the picture but I have hidden them well enough so the system doesn't look too cluttered :)

There is some scattered acoustic treatment that I bought years ago when I didn't know what I was doing and lived in a different home. I don't need them, so I chuck them there. It probably has a small effect, certainly not as profound as placing them behind me.

View to the listening position. The position of the speakers, subs, and the MLP was determined through measurement.

Thanks guys for all these beautiful pictures, it's nice) I imagine that most of you are American? I have the feeling that your listening rooms are much bigger there....

I’ve actually designed my room and had it built for my Klipschorn’s, which after listening to Magic’s and Wilson and a $55,000 pair of Focals I realized they sound the best to me. Since they only work in the corners of the room I had to reinforce the walls with studs every 8 inches instead of the usual 16 inches so the bass wouldn’t vibrate the walls. Here’s my granddaughter helping me push the 220 lb Klipschorn into the corner.
