What are you all using for a headphone stand when your headphones are not in use? Show us a picture...

I'm looking for a headphone stand that will not deform the fit or pads of my headphones. (Audeze LCD-3 and Focal Clear)

Thanks,
Martin

One I built myself a few years ago for my HD-580s (which I still have). It's a bit small for the LCD-2F, but it works. So I got a bigger one. It's just a $15 banana holder from Amazon, but works great.
PS: unlike some headphone holders, these put no stress on the headband or pads.

I don’t trust these hook stands. They create a pressure point in the middle of the strap that can deform it over time. I think the best stand is one that supports the headphone in the same way that it is supported when worn. Of course, it should be narrower than a human head so that it wouldn't stretch the strap and weaken the clamping force over time. Here is my setup:

Banana hangers, gin bottles and foil covered bricks. LOL. Some of you are very creative.

In case you're wondering: the Clears pads are discolored despite me washing them regularly.
Sorry for the unsteady hands, would not make a good camera operator. :/

Those ones usually put pressure on the earpads so the foam will likely wear down faster.

I think the best ones let the headphone hang free from a wide support to distribute the weight on the head band/strap/pad and leave the earpads uncompressed.

The Woo Audio models are my favorite free standing ones. Expensive though...

Sennheiser used to make the HH 10, a nice clamp on holder with a padded surface, but discontinued it years ago.

In searching for pictures of it I found that clones of it have finally appeared, which is great since most of the other clamp ons were too narrow and would dig into the headband as you mentioned.

Now, one that did something sensible with cables would be a joyous sight!

I see it as a feature, not a bug. My most frequent complaint about pads are their stiffness, so making the foam softer faster is not a problem. Though in practice, I have not noticed any wear on the pads from these stands. I actually tried to intentionally wear down the foam in another set of pads for the Meze 99 by forcibly compressing them for long periods of time, hoping it would make them softer. But it didn't seem to make any difference.
