Second owner of this 911 4S. Lots of fun. Many great driving roads in East Tennessee.View attachment 271799
Tail of the Dragon! I tried to go on that some months ago but it was on fire the entire week I was there... I drove on Cherohala Skyway instead and it was plenty fun with breathtaking views and the "mile high" driving experience :)
My Procharger really kept the car flying up there, some of the most fun I've had!

I live 20 minutes from the Dragon. So many great roads here in Tennessee. I take my MINI up there often but I really want to take my LS1 swapped 260Z...It'll happen this year.

If you haven't, try it on a really capable motorcycle, it's a blast.
Sadly my days of that type aggressive riding are over. :(

I forget which youtuber with videos about cars had the saying, "On a long enough timeline, all cars end up with an LS motor in them." They are a good swap for a Z car or an early RX-7. Or a number of other things.

Didn't someone de-gut a Tesla and drop an LS motor in it?o_O
Like the sacrilegious swap of a rotary for an LS. It may have been a dream nightmare!

This is a good watch for fans of the 240Z, mighty car mods do a RB26 conversion on an import 240Z through 17 episodes, the finished car is amazing. The car is finished to such a high spec yet very tastefully carried out so as to keep the character, 1st and last episode below

The world should run on GM LS ICE power.
The most powerful, fuel efficent engines yet designed. ;)

On second thought, it's very hard to ignore the modern MoPar 700-1000 HP Hemi's.
But the LS engines ARE a whole lot cheaper to acquire.

The LS aluminum block and T56 6 speed transmission weighs 30 lbs more than the stock 6 cylinder/ 4 speed transmission in my Z. With a little tweaking can make 4 times the hp and is completely reliable and daily drivable. Mine dyno’d at 396 hp at the wheels. They truly are great engines.

The two 'AeroForce-Interceptors' on top of the dash (previous photo) cost me ~$500 decade ago... great ROI.
They are customized per the exact vehicle year/model you declare during purchase.
It has built-in (but rudimentary set of) OBDII error-reset functionality... like the $50 versions @Sal1950 referenced.:p
There are also many other utilitarian gizmos for weak-kneed garage tinkerers (=me) and tuners alike.

I also use the original version of this DiabloSport Predator (now Holley owned) which connects to the same OBDII port and allows remapping the LS2 GM engine, like nobody's business!
The tweaks that can be done to improve engine performance really does not even need a dyno; because you can actually feel it in your rump, as well as under your right foot.
Of course, during the warranty period, you must re-map the engine back to OEM (default) level, before you dare to take it to the dealer...

Isn't that a bit rude????
I'm astounded. Pray, please explain to me: in what possible way is that rude?
Expressing JOY that one has found others with another similar interest is now rude?
I am serious, I have no idea of how that could be considered rude.
Please enlighten me.
