The styling of the $400K Cadillac CELESTIQ reminds me of a Jensen Interceptor - only much larger.

THe JIA Interceptor is something I would get if I had the extra cash lying around... Incredible car that today pretty much nobody would know what it is, and how much it is actually worth. One would be pretty safe using it as a daily driver, and have a good time.

The guy I saw in one said that he paid $340K (but could be more, just how you option it).
I said "If I had that much money that I could freely spend, it would be on more than one thing"

The FF 440 for me, thank you very much. The one guy that I knew had one (because I worked on it as a mechanic in the 1970's), had a rather eclectic collection of drivers then.
An old 409 hot rod Chevy, a right hand drive 68 Ferrari 365 GTB (I got to use that on a date in 1975, while he drove my 1968 Chevelle SS 396 that afternoon & night), a BMW 320 in BMW's livery at the time (a car I never got to touch), a 1963 Don Aronow Donzi 28 ft boat (I never got to ride in) & a few other interesting vehicles.

I am pleased to read owners of the Honda S2000, older Toyota Supra, and 1st-gen (NA) Mazda Miata can procure new parts from their respective manufacturers.

Does it run or is it just a design study that will never run? Concept cars aren't required to run, so I don't put much stock into them, although design elements may be used in future prototypes which may (possibly) make it to production.

Really happy with the 2022 MB CLS 450 as the family car. We can even get by to vacations with putting the 5th piece of luggage in the back seat, while still seating 4 of us. Girls apparently do need excessive amount of gear .

But great as it is, not the most fun car to move around the city. After considering many options, I am inclined to Lexus 500 as around the city car. Timeless design, apparently low maintenance and the wow factor. Replacing Audi RS5 as it developed a pattern of unhealthy tendency to light up the control panel with various warning messages.

Any thoughts as to what could be the fun and stylish alternative for around the city sports car that can (kind of) seat 4?

EDIT: It should hopefully be less that 2022 LC 500 that is about 80K EUR and not older that at best 2002 vintage.

It won't go to places that I spend a lot of time in (nothing Honda builds will (at least not a it comes from the factory and it's very difficult 2 charge any vehicle that requires a charge when the most service you can get is two 15 amp circuits [I am at the literal end of the power line] when I am where I typically go), but based on experiences that I have had owning a 2007 Honda Fit (the suspension & tires did not stay stock) & modifying a number of others, it should do it's 'intended' job very well.

I have read that before WWII, Packard was held in higher regard than Cadillac.

With the growth of the luxury car market and the revival of Bugatti marque, I have been expecting an EV upstart to buy the rights to the Packard name for a line of luxury vehicles.

A company based in Medina, OH apparently controls the rights to the Packard name and says they are a manufacturer of American luxury cars and timepieces. As of now, it appears they only offer a timepiece with a Packard logo for $1,899.
