Value certainly but ‘sonic excellennce’ audio is one of the few hobbies where you can actually pay hugely more for poorer technical specification/ measurement .

Some posts deleted..,

Off topic , needlessly argumentative and or pointless back and forth.

@Analog Scott , your posting style/habit is often needlessly argumentative . You are purposely causing disruption, trying to create argument when non really exists.

Iv indulged you long enough as have our members , your formally on notice for behaving in a way I consider disingenuous, your not here to spread knowledge and understanding but to give ‘ a bunch of objectivist ‘ a bloody nose.

It’s very tedious Scott, it’s not inspired any content of value.

@Wombat , clearly you’ve got a little frustrated, Iv deleted some of your back and forth with analogscott . I’d put him in the ignore list and carry on enjoying the forum without the distraction.:)

I surely haven´t read every discussion but it seems that other members try to take often what AnalogScott wrote very seriously word for word and demand proof for it but otoh are frustrated if he read and answered their posts in a similar fashion.

Be careful with the "objectivist" descriptor most people are much more on the "subjectivistic" side than they believe, consequently you´ll find a lot of premises/assumptions/conclusion stated as facts..... :)

Well. go back and do more reading and then decide.

Because this is a science based forum the objective view is prominent but that is not to say that those with an objective bent don't recognise that subjectivism is a valid approach at times.
Entrenched subjectivism in the face of contradictory knowledge is a problem. Yes there is the other side of the coin but when the subjectivist struggles to support his/her viewpoint, asking others to disprove what they, the subjective proposer, cannot substantiate is questionable.

Inane arguments are inane arguments, nothing to do with this subjectivist objectivist narrative many are obsessed with.

There’s genuine challange that leads to meaningful explorations of topics and then there’s argumentative ‘bating’ aimed at point scoring via endless word games ..

Ones welcome, ones not.
