Hi all,
I'm using Windows 10 > Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 1 (AES/EBU) > left Genelec 7350A > left > right Genelec 8351A > right Genelec 7350A (daisy chain) + GLM 4.1.0
I usually listen around 73dB (-14 LUFS) at 1m.
Wanna know does other X-SPDIF 1 or 2 users here having such problem?
I have a weird problem with my 7350A which it will auto shutdown after used for a year.
Can AES/EBU signal fried a speaker components? Or is it a faulty sub issue?
It can be powered up again by flipping 7350A power button but the same problem will reoccur in a short time.
I'm in contact with Genelec support, most likely will need to send for repair again.
Below is the recent event details:
20210810
2:25-3:42am - left 7350 suddenly power off
3:42-3:48am - left 7350 suddenly power off
3:56-4:00am - left 7350 suddenly power off
4:01am - aes connect to left 8351, continue to use
I have tried to update the following: (which doesn't help)
Store to Loudspeakers
ISS Sleep Delay - Never Sleep (default value - no change)
ISS Sensitivity - Low (from High)
Input Selection - Automatic > Digital (from Automatic)
(ignored the offline sub, it is successfully stored when 4 speakers are up)
And then I power off & power on all the speakers & subwoofers before continue to use.
