Setup to apply EQ from TV(streaming apps) to headphones (possibly active/passive 2.0/2.1 speakers in the future as well)

If I would like the highest possible sampling rate, I just need USB from Wiim to Topping, right?
Toslink supports the highest possible sample rate that your TV will output.

The WiiM Pro is the perfect device for your needs.

Then I will go with the Wiim Pro.
Thanks :)
Just to be abundantly clear, the wiim pro will take the toslink from your TV and eq it, then toslink out to your e50.

Your pc or phone will go via usb to your e50 but eq will be done on phone or pc.

The wiim will not take usb in from anything.

Or just stream everything to the WiiM either using the various streaming services directly to the WiiM, casting /airplay or UPNP /dlna server from wherever. And optical from your TV.

Thanks for the update, Jimbo.
I am using EQ software, USB Audio Player Pro, for my phone and MacBook. :)

I updated my post. You may not need phone or mac for music anymore if your streaming services can be handled by the Wiim directly.

One final question. I just need to be totally sure.
When I use EQ in DAC in the Wiim, what is happening to this "EQ signal" when it hits the DAC in my E50?
My topping E50 is the main DAC in the system and will handle the "digital to analogue signal".

As you know; I am newbie and just need to be sure :)

When you use EQ with Toslink in->Toslink out, then the WiiM's built-in DAC is completely bypassed. It does not touch the signal.

Great.
But the "EQ signal" will get passed through to my E50, right?
I am not 100% sure, that I understand this  :)

Just an alternative solution.
How about this solution:

TV --> Wiim AMP --> Topping E50/L50 --> Hifiman Arya Stealth

Are you planning on using passive loudspeakers? The Amp would be kind of pointless otherwise.

Hi Guys,

I am curious to know what that is on the Wiim Pro?
Please look at attached picture.
