Jump to IE200 and do the nozzle vent modification (simple modification and if you want I'll explain how to do it). From there you'll have an IE600 but slightly less bright. Yes, female voices on IE600 are slightly better, but that's where the differences end.i have not taken the plunge on the ie600, as yet.
struggling to justify the cost new , even when discounted to £499.
cant risk a used purchase, as risk of buying a fake.
so i am looking at other options, inc a full size closed back.
It is. I went though 7 sets of tips and haven't found one yet that works reliably.is this not down to the tips rather than the iem itself?
decided to jump on the Hexa in the end.Have you considered the Truthear Hexa:

TRUTHEAR HEXA In-ear Monitor

They are great sounding, have a quite a compact body and cost less than £100.00.![]()

just could not justify spending the money on IE600.
certainly very different to my Zero2
physically i hoped they would be a tad smaller, but comfort is ok.What do you think of them?
is the Echo 2 otl or transformer coupled?I'm rocking IE200 with spring tips (ones that came with OG Chu) and I must say, I couldn't hope for more. With this setting I can confidently say that I have found a IEM substitute for all the other neutralish headphones I own. Crazy how well they work even with the Feliks Audio Echo 2 even though the impedance being pretty low! Of course there's tad bit of impedance mismatch which boosts low end but with Apple dongle or straight from my laptop they are so well balanced but not dull. I'd buy these over the other models without hearing them because like I said, these give me the perfect sound I was after!
