interested in these, but they dont seem to get much of a mention on here.
so any opinions would be appreciated.
i know they are pretty expensive but i like the small form factor and think they may improve on the comfort of my Zero2 and Hane.

Decidedly not a Harman-ish tuning (YMMV if thats good or bad). I havent tried but some folks swear by them for both comfort and sound. On the assumption

you can find these in a bricks/ mortar store I would say defo try before you buy

I love the comfort and build quality of these iems, but the sound is not really up to par for my liking. I vastly prefer my Zero, Zero 2, Chu ll, Tanchjim One and Hexas.
If you like a v-shaped sound (boosted bass and treble) then give them a shot.

i do actually like a v-shaped sound but this may be too much, i cant really tell just from graphs.
that 15k peak wont bother me as i am now "done" at 12.5k.
i am tending to use iem's at my desk instead of closed back full size phones, so should always have access to eq.

I have them. I love them for the comfort and the nice metal shell. But boy do they have a lot of treble. For my taste too much for 70% of the music I listen to. Treble is their most prominent feature.

So, I don't use them much (even with EQ.)

i watched the review by Resolve last night and it has made me think twice.
he is the only one that i know of who has said the IE600 suffers from sibilance quite badly.
would this be tricky to remedy with eq?

I'd start with a negative high shelf at 5k, try a dB more each time.

Maybe try the IE200:

Personally, I think there are likely more neutral and better value options available, but if you want the very compact body of the Sennheiser, it might be worth a look.

I have the IE200 and have heard the IE600. I would pick the IE200 over the IE600 even without the price difference. I have not heard the IE900.

The IE200 is pretty good, but not really any better sounding to me than the Zero 2 or the Chu 2.

Just in case .. the IE600 are some of the most faked IEMs out there and over the years those copies got a lot better and are really hard to tell from an original set.
I've heard stories where some folks allegedly bought some cheap but really well done chinese fakes, ordered an original set from an online dealer like amazon etc... and some days later instead of the OG set returned the fakes for a full refund.
If I were interested in a set I'd only buy them new (sealed box) and straight from Senn or an official dealer.

But what if the fakes sound better than the real ones?

i see a cheapish ie900 on ebay and that looks like a fake to me.
there is no visible filter through the vent hole.

luckily i have no interest in the 900

"pardon our interuption" dont know why the link is showing as this?

Resolve also said they have fit issues, which is why they cause sibilance. I own these and it's the first IEM that manages to keep sibilance at bay in female vocals. I've only had very mild issues with bad recordings, but I think they're the best IEMs I've ever had because they have it all.

IE900 has no filter on the vent hole because it does not need it. The fake one is easier to notice because the inside of the nozzle is the same color as the body. The original one is black

If you have access to the E.Q. then get IE200 directly. I own IE200, IE600 and Zero2 and IE200 is a huge upgrade over Zero2. IE600 is a better tuned and refined IE200. IE200 price quality is unbeatable. IE600 if you are a Nerd.
Be careful of one thing: you have to understand well how to wear it, because the tips can be the best or the worst in the world depending on your ear.

I like the over the ear Sennheiser 600 series, but after purchasing the IE200 I would never use their IEM. Truthear makes a good product at a very reasonable price.
