Sennheiser HD250BT fans?

The Sennheiser HD250BT isn't a sophisticated headphone. No ANC or wired lossless, and its construction is basic, to say the least. However, it's got a certain charm as it's influenced by the HD25 series, with seemingly some cross-compatibility with pads etc. It's also very cheap - it's discontinued now and can be picked up used for very little money. More importantly, I prefer the out-of-the-box sound over the Momentum 4. Could someone explain what that honking drop-off at 4k-ish is about though?

Anyone else have these?

Caused by acoustic tuning of the headphone system (baffle, driver, porting, pads) causing nulling at that frequency.
One could get rid of it but other parts of the frequency response will suffer more (audibly).
It is seen in a lot of headphones and as long as it is very narrow doesn't impact the overall sound much.
Shouldn't be there but no deal breaker in general for music enjoyment.
