AKG K371 have very small ear cups. Majority of people I know who tried them did not find them to be a good fit. It's nice to have alternatives.
I wonder how my ancient ancestor HD265s would compare?
I do hope listeners don't whack the volume up high, as their ears will suffer eventually (believe me, I KNOW!!!) and in any case, you can't physically FEEL the bass via 'phones![]()
Why would you do that. It is like 3x more cost than Sennheiser HD620S. I am saying that because. A person would easily burn through at-least 3 Maxwell's in time he burns through a single HD620S. Sennheiser headphones just last forever. Seriously. That aspect alone makes them a better a buy. From a regular consumer standpoint I'd definitely pick the equally priced Audeze Maxwell over this but this is still a good product!
AHAHAHAHAHAHAH! This is an experiment I absolutely have to try! Great idea!Sometimes when I listen to cans through the headphone jack on my amp I turn the speakers off but leave the subwoofers on

Yes multiple Mobius and even 1 Maxwell which just failed in less than 2-3Yrs time. And were sadly not covered in the warranty as were not driver related failure.Sennheisers are built great and last. But Maxwell has features that the HD620S just doesn’t offer. That said, what makes you say that? Have there been issues with Audezes?
The HD620S has more lower treble (clarity) and less bass:How do these headphones compare to the Massdrop x Beyerdynamics dt 177x Go headphones?

Even thin glasses will kill bass below 100Hz:And finally, i wear glasses, will this kill the sound quality of these headphones? They are thin band glasses, not super thick, but have a small gap between head and frame.

i just grabbed a set at £199 from Audio T.These are £245 right now on Amazon UK, which is a steal IMO.
So do at least @amirm‘s quick and dirty equalization and you are fine with headphones!i just grabbed a set at £199 from Audio T.
amirm, you need to measure the THD after aplying EQ.

EQ With Confidence: 200 Post-EQ Remeasurements Validate That Headphones Follow A Linear Response To Equalization
Headphones are much more linear and obedient to EQ than most people imagine. The match between the calculated curve and the real, post-EQ measurement is strikingly close.www.rtings.com
Especially since Rtings investigation showed that measuring THD after EQ isn't actually all that important...I think you need to chill a bit..why spam?
You need to change the RME band 1 & 5 type to peak filters.have tried tuning these as per Oratory1990 curve for ADI-2 and cant get the adjustment curve to look anything like the one posted on the site.
where am i going wrong?
brilliant, thank youYou need to change the RME band 1 & 5 type to peak filters.
(well i can actually)
