I use an iPhone mainly to read the forum and I have a problem with the search function. Once the search window comes up, I cannot type in any search criteria. The cursor will not appear, nor the keyboard to begin typing. This is a problem on iOS with both Safari and Chrome. I’ve tried clicking in the search criteria field many different ways, including rotating the screen, long presses, double taps, etc.

It’s been like this a while. I used to be able to get it to work after a few tries but over the last couple of months, it’s completely stopped letting me type in the search field, forcing me to break out my laptop when I need search.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Yep.
I just keep hammering on the text entry field and am eventually able to succeed.
Bit of a pain tho...

And sometimes when the onscreen keyboard pops up the search menu shoots up off the screen, but if you start typing it will jump back on.

OK, it is a bug that is fixed in the latest version of the software. I have been procrastinating taking the site down to do as it requires updates to a boatload of other extensions we have. Give me a bit of time please and I will get it done.
