i have a friend (since passed) who's dad grew up in the same hometown at the same time as Connery (they were classmates as i recall)... Connery was larger than life even as a kid from the stories i've been told...rest in peace 007

Only knew the book. Interesting that a film was made.

it shouldn't have been. But Sean was as watchable as ever. Christian Slater, however.............

I gotta agree with that. One of my favorite books of all time. Huge movie letdown.

The library was barely an element...

Anyway, I should read that again.

My first date was Goldfinger, and so we all go into the abyss. The Man who Would be King was a great job by the two principle actors and under appreciated.
