Teledyne offers free online presentations that talk about basics of measurements. A must watch for those that are not in the field but curios and can certainly benefits those that are. https://www.bethesignal.com/bogatin/
Other vendors offer similar content, but I believe Teledyne was the first one to offer such thing (at least they were the first one to contact me). If you sign up for their online free class you can ask questions as well.

Eric has been doing those for many, many years before he joined Teledyne-LeCroy but they are good introductory lectures. And yes most equipment manufacturers offer app notes, some videos, and of course there are many other online resources.

It's indeed from the built-in generator. However, for audio domain it's perfect for viewing signals and troubleshooting issues.
