Say "Hello!" to boXem Arthur series, Hypex and Purifi based power amplifiers

Thanks...but how will your 2nd gen Purifi amps behave when their -ve output terminals are grounded? That was the original intent of my question.
If it's an 1ET9040BA inside, one of the half-bridges will be short circuited to ground, that will be detected, the amp will shut down and retry until the short is removed.
If it's an 1ET6525SA working in phase, nothing will happen except potential sound degradation because a ground loop was created.
If it's an 1ET6525SA working in opposition of phase, the half-bridge will be short circuited to ground, that will be detected, the amp will shut down and retry until the short is removed.
The only case of connection to ground that I can imagine as not being a failure mode is the connection to the high level input from a sub. Sub manufacturers explain how to connect full bridge amplifiers to their products in their manual.

Thank you ... so since the -ve terminal is internally grounded for the 6525SA and 7040SA, per their datasheets, do the above answers you gave still apply?

Also, are your 1ET6525SA amplifiers operated in-phase or out-of-phase? I would hope you would stick to one configuration.

I wonder why they made an exception for the 9040BA module.
Because the customer who paid for the module development asked for a full bridge.

I wrote that they were internally grounded in my initial answer.
I gave a simple answer initially and I am sticking to it: flash = active output, no flash = internally grounded output.

Wow...now, that is some ear-tingling news! Are you saying Purifi designed the 9040BA for another customer and not for themselves? Do you know who that customer might be?

I looked closely at the 9040BA module and noticed it has an OPA1632 differential-in differential-out amplifier. Do you know why it would be there, considering a preceding diff-amp output section on the buffer board?

How are you able to look closely at a module while sending emails and posting on ASR to get measurements for a "fair comparison" (cit.) with a competitor's implementation in order to decide which one to purchase?
I think there's been a misunderstanding ... the 9040 module I looked at was from the datasheet, not from one of your amps.

I'm still genuinely confused. What's my error? Truly genuine question.

Just for a bit of bragging, Arhur 4216/E2 5W 4R 1kHz:

Gain 12.3 dB: THD -131 dB, noise 7.5 uV(uw) => SINAD 115 dB Noise 5.2 uV(A)
Gain 21.0 dB: THD -130 dB, noise 8.9 uV(uw) => SINAD 114 dB Noise 6.5 uV(A)
Gain 26.3 dB: THD -128 dB, noise 11.7 uV(uw) => SINAD 112 dB Noise 8.7 uV(A)

To continue with the bragging, Arthur 5523/E1 5W 4R 1kHz:

Low gain: THD -132 dB, noise 6.9 uV(uw) => SINAD 116 dB Noise 5.1 uV(A)
Medium gain: THD -128 dB, noise 8.7 uV(uw) => SINAD 114 dB Noise 6.5 uV(A)
High gain: THD -129 dB, noise 12.7 uV(uw) => SINAD 111 dB Noise 9.7 uV(A)
